Join us (10:00 AM EST/3:00 PM GMT) for a celebration of Tu BiShevat, the Jewish new year of trees, with a mini Seder of fruits, nuts, and wine or grape juice as well as a discussion of environmentalism and vegetarianism.
To fully participate in the Seder with us, you will need:
- Fruits and nuts with hard, inedible exteriors and soft edible insides, such as oranges, bananas, walnuts, and pistachios.
- Fruits and nuts with soft exteriors, but with a hard pit inside, such as dates, apricots, olives, and persimmons.
- Fruit that is eaten whole, such as figs and berries.
- Red wine and white wine, or red grape juice and apple juice. We will be drinking four cups during the Seder (small cups are also acceptable!).
